Project of the Day: Air Pressure Egg Drop Materials Hard Boiled Egg Paper Match Glass Bottle – I used a Starbucks Frappaccino Glass Bottle The Experiment Watch this video for step-by-step project directions and ways to communicate the science behind this experiment to your kiddos. If you try this at home, share your pictures and videos with us on Instagram @solbe.learning so we can see how your experiment turned out! Step One Boil two eggs..so you have a backup! Step Two Be certain your glass container is dry. It will make the experiment faster if you coat the rim of the bottle with a tiny bit of vegetable oil. Step Three Exciting part! Light the piece of paper on fire and slide it to the bottom of the glass. Instantly place the egg back on top and watch as it slides down into the bottle! Most important direction, as always: HAVE FUN! More resources to follow in the coming days. Feedback and more ideas welcome! Above all, be well and stay healthy! The SolBe Team
