We create the highest quality early learning experiences through our school's pillars: people, spaces, programs, and wellness.

Global educator team with core attributes of being down-to-earth, growth minded, brilliant, and fun.

Purposeful indoor and dedicated outdoor spaces that evolve alongside children’s interests, inviting exploration, connection, body awareness, and well-being.

Reggio Emilia-inspired, hands-on, playful learning rooted in exploration, outdoor experiences, social-emotional growth, STEAM, Spanish exposure, and school readiness.

Seed-to-table nutrition. Organic, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly. Three meals made from scratch daily. AVOIDING pesticides, refined-sugar, and processed foods.

SolBe has two interconnected schools: the Nursery School and the Canopy School.
The Nursery School lays foundations for infants and younger toddlers, and the Canopy School builds on them up through PreK. No other school in Boston has campuses dedicated to age groups this way.
Two age-specific schools. One unified purpose.

SolBe offers several flexible scheduling options for working parents. Families can enroll in 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day per week schedules, with drop-off at 8:00 AM and pickup at 3:00 PM. We also have an extended day enrollment option from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, available on the 5-day per week schedule.
We understand that some families have one working parent or have a parent home in the afternoon. Starting this year, we're offering Half-Day programs. Families can enroll in: Half-Day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or Half-Day & Lunch from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, which includes a meal made fresh in our on-site kitchen. Half-Day programs are available 3-days or 5-days per week.

All SolBe educators come from different backgrounds across the world. We hire staff from Chile, Peru, Iran, Venezuela, Afghanistan, and Mexico, which means all of our classrooms are bilingual. In addition to keeping Educator : Student ratios appropriately low, we also account for factors in the environment such as lighting, acoustics, room layout, furniture, play structures, as well as nutrition—as each of these has as significant of an impact on growth and development.
The SolBe Nursery School is for infants and younger toddlers (6 weeks - 24 months) and the SolBe Canopy School is for older toddlers, preschoolers, and prek (2 - 5 years). Each has an entire team dedicated to their age specialty: one focused on nurturing the earliest foundations and one focused on building upon those foundations, preparing children for all that comes next.
Development at these age groups differs dramatically, and physical space significantly influences the quality of learning experiences for your children. Most schools comprise aspects of their physical spaces to accomodate all ages. SolBe meets children where they are by providing physical spaces uniquely designed for each age group.
The SolBe Nursery School and the SolBe Canopy School operate in tandem under one Solbe umbrella. Learning philosophies, nutrition programs, educator quality, administrative staff, owners—everything is consistent.

Parents don't write us reviews. They write us love letters.
I absolutely LOVE SolBe.
It gives me such peace of mind to know that my little one is being enriched in body, mind and Sol when she leaves for school each day. Her teachers are so kind, she gets amazing healthy food each day, and SolBe really does a lot to nurture relationships with the whole family and community.
From my child's art projects to mindfulness practices, I love receiving the photo and video updates throughout the day.
10/10 definitely recommend!
SolBe Learning has been an exceptional experience for our family. The staff is warm, attentive, and deeply invested in each child's growth. The facilities and curriculum truly support a joyful, enriching early learning journey.
Sending your child to daycare is never easy, but sending them to SolBe makes it feel SO much better. The Nursey honestly starts my day with a smile. To start, the school is just beautiful… every teacher greets you with a smile. Photos are sent hourly with updates of my son smiling, playing, learning and getting lots of love and attention. I'm so glad we found SolBe. There is no other daycare I'd recommend. Absolutely a 10/10.
We've had such a wonderful experience at the new Solbe Nursery space. Our first child started at Solbe in the infant room, so choosing them again when our second arrived was an easy decision.
The communication is outstanding, the teachers truly listen to any concerns and partner with you to support your child in the way that feels right for your family, while also offering thoughtful guidance when helpful. Leaving your child, especially an infant, is never easy, but it brings so much peace of mind knowing she is so genuinely loved and cared for throughout the day.
Our baby absolutely lights up when she sees her teachers each morning, which makes drop-off that much easier and reassures us every day that she's in the best hands.
As working parents, what they provide at the school also makes your life so much easier. Not needing to pack food when solids start or diapers or wipes is a life saver. They are so cautious when introducing food and making sure all allergies are strictly adhered to.
We can't recommend Solbe enough! Our son started in the young toddler room when he was 10.5 months old and adjusted very quickly, thanks to the warmth and kindness of his classroom educators. Since starting, he has developed so many amazing skills and continuously surprises us with new things he's learned at school. We have a great relationship with the staff and trust them to take good care of our son while he's with them.
