We create the highest quality early learning experiences through our school's pillars: people, spaces, programs, and wellness.

People

Global educator team with core attributes of being down-to-earth, growth minded, brilliant, and fun.

Spaces

Purposeful indoor and dedicated outdoor spaces that evolve alongside children’s interests, inviting exploration, connection, body awareness, and well-being.

Programs

Building foundations. Reggio Emilia-inspired, hands-on, playful learning rooted in exploration, outdoor experiences, social-emotional growth, and Spanish exposure.

Wellness

Seed-to-table nutrition. Organic, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly. Three meals made from scratch daily. AVOIDING pesticides, refined-sugar, and processed foods.

Parents ask us:

What kind of food is served and where is it from?

For our youngest kiddos, we prepare fresh and delicious organic purées and nutrient-rich solids from our kitchen down the street. As our students grow, we thoughtfully introduce solids and textures. HiPP formula is included. All ingredients are organic, vegetarian, and local when possible. Everything is prepared from scratch daily.

What is the Educator/Student ratio?

Infants 3:7 • Younger Toddlers 3:9

While Educator/Student ratio is important and we keep it low, factors in the environment such as lighting, acoustics, room layout, furniture, play structures, as well as nutrition, have as significant of an impact on growth and development. Our spaces and nutrition program are specifically designed to account for these things, while also hiring a stellar, global educator team.

What happens when my child ages past 24 months?

The SolBe Nursery School is dedicated entirely to infants and younger toddlers up until age two. Families have the option to build on their child's foundation at the SolBe Canopy School just two minutes down the street. It's a seamless transition—both schools share the same learning philosophy, nutrition program, global educator team, admissions team, and more. Age is the only differentiator.

Parents don't write us reviews. They write us love letters.

SolBe has been such a wonderful experience for our little family. Our daughter started at SolBe at just 5 months old, and as first-time parents, we were understandably nervous about sending her to daycare. From the very beginning, the communication from Pam and the teachers has been incredible. We've never once felt like a bother when reaching out with questions, and we always receive thoughtful, reassuring responses.

The biggest comfort of all is seeing our daughter smile the second she sees her teacher, Ms. Jaleh, every morning. It says everything. :) The daily photos that are shared are also a bright spot — we truly look forward to them each day. We feel so grateful to be part of the SolBe community!

Sending your child to day care for the first time is scary for anybody, but the care, love, and enrichment my son has gotten at Solbe from day 1 is truly incredible. He adjusted so quickly and now gets so excited to see his friends and teachers. The other day, he was chanting the name of one of his teachers in the car on the way there! He's learned so much in just a few months, has picked up a number of Spanish words and he has so much fun while he is there. The activities they do every day are so creative and tie directly to various developmental skills. The teachers are absolutely wonderful— they are so caring, warm, and affectionate, and they are also highly communicative and responsive when we have questions or general updates. Additionally, knowing that they provide high quality food is a huge mental load off during the week. I strongly recommend Solbe to all of our friends— it's a lovely place with caring staff who are also highly professional.

Our daughter has been attending SolBe for several months now. When I drop her off at school in the morning, I know she's going to learn a lot and have fun doing it. Ms. Mana, Ms Janet, Camila, and Ms Khurshid have done wonders for my child's development. We are extremely pleased with how amazing everyone is at Solbe. The Bright wheel app allows us to follow our daughters progress throughout each day and their messaging is clear and concise. Because food and diapers are included, we only have to worry about the basics when dropping off and picking up. Our daughter is exposed to several different languages at Solbe. It melts my heart when our daughter starts singing songs in a different language. I am incredibly grateful for Pam and the team at SolBe.

SolBe has been such a wonderful experience for our son. He has been there since he was 6 months old and continues to thrive. The teachers are so loving, and it is so obvious how much the kids enjoy their time there. The facility is extremely clean, our son loves all the meals, and they always have such creative activities planned. We can't imagine sending him to any other spot.

SolBe is an outstanding nursery school. The teachers and staff are thoughtful, attentive, and caring. My daughter loves her teachers and the wonderful activities and routines they create for her each day. I love the detailed communication and photo updates they share every day - it makes drop off easier knowing I will get to see what my daughter is up to at school. The space itself is beautiful, clean, and intentionally designed. I love that SolBe takes care of food, diapers, and bedding for nap time. All I have to do is drop my daughter off with a change of clothes - which makes mornings so much easier. If I could give SolBe more stars I would!

We have had our daughter at SolBe Nursery School part time since she was 10 months old. It has been our first experience with leaving our LO with anyone, and the staff at SolBe have been so supportive every step of the way.

Starting with the intentional architecture of the building - classrooms and spaces designed for community and cleanliness - the Nursery school has a great vibe. Armed with an industrial sized sterilizer and a well established cleaning routine, my germaphobic fears have been quelled. The staff are all wonderful, warm, and communicative. With the usage of Brightwheel, I get daily communication around food, diapers, naps, and great photos of activities. Additionally, all meals are provided and the food is real, healthy, and down right delicious.

If this review hasn't sold you on SolBe, just visit. The place speaks for itself.

We have had a fantastic experience for our daughter! She has been attending the nursery school for the past 6 months. We have been very impressed with the high quality staff - Pam, Ms. Mana, Ms. Camila, Ms. Khurshid, Ms. Janet all have great experience working with kids, are hands on with imaginative and sensory play, and create a nurturing environment. There are delicious meals made on-site with diapers and milk also provided, which makes it so much easier for daily drop offs. Our daughter loves going to school everyday, comes home singing new songs from school, is starting to speak Spanish (English is primary language at home), and is thriving in this environment! We recommend SolBe for any parent looking for a safe, clean, fun, and interactive learning experience for their child.

Choosing a daycare is such an emotional decision, and honestly, SolBe has been everything we hoped for and more.

I was really nervous about my son's transition, as I went back to work fairly early and he was still so small. Our teachers made it so gentle and easy for all of us. They took the time to learn his personality, his routines, and what makes him feel comfortable, which made the adjustment so much easier than I expected.

The relationships he's built with his teachers have been amazing to watch. You can feel how much he's cared for the second you walk into the classroom. One morning, a family member came with me for drop off, and she still talks about how wonderful the atmosphere felt.

We've also seen so much growth in our son since starting. His confidence, curiosity, and overall happiness have really blossomed. He's excited to go in the mornings, and that says everything.

We toured several local daycares, but SolBe just felt different from the start. The communication, the care, and the overall environment make it feel like a true partnership. We're so grateful we found them.
