Building resilient, gritty, empathic, and curious humans that thrive in our modern world.

SolBe is an early learning center in Chestnut Hill, MA with a fresh approach: To support you in finding the right learning environment for your little one, even if that's not us. We’re not here to say what’s best for you. We're not here to add to the information overload. We're here with the people and expertise for your to make a clearer, more-confident choice.

Our kids fall down, they bump into things, they argue, and cry. Sometimes hit each other, and they get bored.

They also learn to pick them selves up, how to cooperate, mend friendships, and to wonder—they ingrain grit, a growth mindset, curiosity, empathy, resilience, and conflict resolution into their DNA to prepare them for the lifetime ahead. SolBe curates the right context and boundaries that allows kids to learn through play. Our school is built on four pillars, each with [obsessive, precise, scientific] intention in the design to help your kid become all they can be.

Educators

Exceptional care begins with exceptional people

We hire educators for their character—empathy, patience, and passion for teaching—and then invest in developing their skills.

We are global and diverse in thought. SolBe proudly [includes] educators from Iran, Afghanistan, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, and more with [X%+] having a Masters in Education and [X%+] having an undergraduate degree in an non-education field.

I cannot recommend SolBe enough as a daycare. The teachers, curriculum, and sense of community are outstanding. It’s a small, intimate environment where every educator knows your child personally and truly cares for them. I’ve seen my children thrive socially, emotionally, and physically. The convenience of nutritious food and diapers being provided is an added bonus. The management team is approachable, always available, and works with you to ensure the best experience for your family. SolBe has been an incredible part of our journey, and I’m so grateful for all they do.

Sam's Mom

"As our children grew and developed, so too did SolBe’s program and our perspective on their education. When our children transitioned into the preschool classroom at age three, we quickly discovered a shift in our desire for and interest in SolBe’s emergent curriculum. That said, one piece of SolBe’s approach, Spanish exposure, worried us. As a family who speaks Korean at home, we wondered if introducing a third language would be confusing—we wanted the focus to be on Korean and English development. We discovered that SolBe’s program is adaptable and inclusive. Together, SolBe’s administrators and educators worked alongside our family to support this trilingual experience, which included ramping up Spanish exposure."
